Here's a list of our label exclusives:

Hiiragi Fukuda - Dump B/W Don't Worry Be Slow (7")

Another blast from our hero Hiiragi Fukuda! From the My Turntable Is Slow sessions we offer two more gems. This time as a split release with the revered label Holy Mountain.

"Dump" (and its B-side "Don't Worry Be Slow") is the single with massive guitar solos that Hiiragi Fukuda's masterpiece of late night mellow My Turntable is Slow LP could not contain. Both songs have an earlier in the evening swagger that make them both as complimentary to Hiiragi's LP as "Suspicious Minds" is to The Memphis Album. Limited to 300 copies and only available from Selection Records, Holy Mountain and Mr Fukuda himself." - Holy Mountain

Price: $7.00

Sadahiro Yamada - OK To Exist Doing Nothing (LP)

Selection super session Japanese style. Live and on fire in Tokyo 2004.
We have Selection's own Hiiragi Fukuda on drums and Yuka Ijichi on blazing guitars along with Kiyohiro "Doronco" Takada (Les Rallizes Denudes!) on bass and of course the star of the show, Sadahiro Yamada (visionary and owner of the fine Cho Yamada Dou record store in Kokubunji, Tokyo.) fully up front on guitar and vocals.
An intense night of raw psychedelia (thankfully) recorded for your pleasure. Will excite fans of Les Rallizes Denudes, Doronco Gumo, Pre-blueswailing era Major Stars and most guitar bands on P.S.F. Records.

But don't just take my word for it....

Price: $13.00

Terror of the Deep - Death of the Gideon (12”)

Debut vinyl release for this fresh and exciting Wellington NZ trio! Follows up cassettes on Night People. Strung along the same mystic thread as all your favorite Flying Nun and NZ bands of yore, yet claims their own voice and avoiding becoming a tribute act.
Finally here and Selection couldn't be any prouder! Listen here and enjoy!

Robert Scott - The Professor And The Team (CS)

Selection is beyond ecstatic to present an archival release from our hero, Mr. Robert Scott!!!
Legendary member of both the CLEAN and the BATS, Bob has always kept himself busy at home recording constantly.
Many songs never make it to either of his more well known groups, some emerge under the name ELECTRIC BLOOD or as CDr's under his own name.
What we have here is a collection of songs recorded at home in Dunedin in the summer of 1988.
1988!!! the year of The Law Of Things, also he was getting ready for the 1st Clean LP Vehicle.
Lo-fidelity as you would expect and demand. VERY excited to be working with Bob on this archeology.
Expect a collection of Electric Blood early recordings from Selection later this year!

Price: $6.00

Man's Assassination Man - The Big One (CS)

Selection is psyched to bring you this modern classic of L.A. punk on a modern cassette!
Already gone, but never to be forgotten. Man's Ass (as they preferred to be called) tore up stages, money and relationships across southern California for years before they died and went to heaven.
The members collective pedigree includes time in acts like Residual Echoes, The Mae Shi, Of Aire, Devon Williams and Thelonius fucking Monster.
For fans of the Flesh Eaters, Fear, Royal Trux, Drinking, Ditchweed and Taco Zone.

“Man’s Assassination, Man is a rock group from Los Angeles, CA that set out to free themselves from all rock illusion and cliche and they failed completely.

Man’s Ass, as their friends and fans lazily refer to them, formed out of the pleasure of writing and performing music that they actually enjoyed, which is a rare thing for people to do in Los Angeles. Sure, the riffs are rocking and the grooves are bopping, but there is something inherently sinister in the execution that can’t help but reflect the embarrassing nihilism and childishly bad attitudes of the band members. It could be described as some kind of bummer boogie rock, like Van Halen on bathtub drugs. The music is an involuntary reaction to the conformist nightmare of success and douchery that dominates LA life across the board. Taking inspiration from weirdo hippie SST punk, the metallic negativity of Fear and Flipper, the anguished poetry and vision of Chris D and the Flesh Eaters, the rawk experimentalism of Hagerty and Herrema, and the pure freedom and joy of classic boner rock, the band would became more known for being drunk and talking too much between songs.

They played their first show together in 2008 at the now defunct Echo Curio and have since gone on to perform before numerous hostile audiences, opening for the likes of Jad Fair, The Urinals, Abe Vigoda, Plastic Crimewave, and Andrew WK. The band members themselves have been rocking for many years in many other groups and collaborations, such as Residual Echoes, The Mae Shi, Of Aire, Devon Williams, even Thelonius Monster.
Paloma Parfrey of The Sharp Ease and Precious Medals gifted the band with her vocal presence on the album, which was recorded in two days at Mix LA by the talented Andrew Schubert, who is also the proprietor of Ghostbot Records. The Big One is their first and only album. The title is a reference to many things, from the earthquake in Robert Altman’s “Short Cuts,” Redd Fox, Aerosmith and genitals in general.” - Ghostbot
